@Rajesh: I know my view on social media is controversial. If you want to make any serious money in Blogging, then your only hope is Search Engine Traffic. You will never succeed with SN. However if you really write original content (and by original, I mean ORIGINAL), which has many takers, then SN may be good for you. Just to wander / hop around from blog to blog, hoping that ultimately the other person will visit your blog in return and link to your blog, is just fruitless activity. Total waste of time.

Silki, very nice interview. I too get most of my traffic from google.I fall in the same category as you, unlike most other indian tech bloggers.

However i do try to spend some time networking with the folks, just to know who is who and networking is good from perspectives other than blogging.Whether or not i interact with a few of them, I do read all their blogs regularly.
