Wow, Keith! This is excellent and now wonder you have been in hiding. :-) This is going to really create a buzz in the WordPress community. I know I'll be doing my part to spread the word. :-) Count me in on the testing but I will not be able to get to it until next week though. I will email you soon.

You really come up with something pretty useful. I wish you luck to conquer the manage tab of Admin dashboard with loads of your plugin.

Backup wizard on my cpanel helps me to do this, though there is no option to choose only the plugins and themes...or either of them...but i am going to backup them only once and whenever i use a new plugin or theme......but i will be backing up my mysql database quite often..but definitely this is a nice option...
